Primary Education
From 6 to 11 years of age.

Bilingual English- Spanish from 1st to 3rd grade of Primary (EPO) and trilingual English-Spanish-French from 4th to 6th grade of Primary (EPO).

Spanish Education System

The Primary stage comprises six courses for pupils from 6 to 12 years of age. At this stage, which is so important in developing the interest in learning and the character of the child, the learning process and the acquisition of learning habits is optimised. The aim is to awaken a critical yet reasoned spirit which will also favour a rich and supportive personality. The educational project in primary is completed with auxiliary programmes which complement the basic formation such as the trilingual education in English-Spanish-French, the education in civic, ethical and supportive values and the use of new technology. Other programmes specific to this stage include:

Learner’s Corner (1st cycle of Primary)

The Learner’s Corner develops activities which will stimulate areas which the traditional European teaching methods often ignore. The Learner’s Corner is a compendium of activities (intelligent Bits, musical auditions, works of art…) which used in the correct manner will produce significant changes in the organisational skills of our pupils.

Chess

Thanks to the intellectual and entertaining spirit of chess we are able to help our pupils develop multiple intellectual skills that without doubt will help them in their learning process.

Science Programme

Over the course pupils are participating in experiments inside and outside the classroom individually and as members of a team. For these activities they are using the science laboratories, the IT rooms, their own classrooms and the natural environment. At the same time, and with our daily reading scheme the children are encouraged to read so completing their formation period.

Outstanding News

External exams success

External exams in English, French and German are now part of our yearly objectives and each year we are obtaining better results at higher levels and with younger students. Over 200 students have taken a Cambridge or Trinity exam and we have obtained a 100% pass rate on the results so far, as many results have still to be released. The French Delf exams and German Goethe also obtained the same pass rate, 100%.

I would especially like to congratulate our 2nd Bachillerato students who have successfully obtained the Trinity 12 (C2 equivalent) before leaving school and to all those students of the other courses who made such a big effort in these exams, even sacrificing break times to practice their oral exams.

Well done and congratulations to you all.

Trinity Exams

Another year we can proudly say that all our students passed the Trinity exams with very good marks!!!

This year we want to mention not only the little ones from 2nd and 3rd grade that did it incredibly well but also our big ones, the students from 2nd of Bachillerato that took grades 10 and 12 and had great results. For us was a pleasure to hear them speaking in English before going into the exam’s room and we remembered when they were our students in 2nd or 3rd of Primary. How proud we are of them!

Congratulations!
