In the era of communications and globalisation comprehensive academic formation is far from being sufficient, no matter how substantial this may be. The educational process has to be accompanied by the perfect command of at least one foreign language, and also be fully acquainted with all those tools currently being used in new technologies. In view of this and by means of its educational project, LAUDE El Altillo School ensures that once the students complete their Bachillerato studies they are able to communicate perfectly in the English language, and, on the other hand, by working with computers and specific software on a daily basis, they are fully conversant with all relevant computer applications.

The School is very conscious of how important it is to teach our students to be fully conversant in the use of computer tools, and for this reason all our students have fully equipped classrooms in which, in addition to the hours spent in acquiring knowledge on the specific objectives on the subject of new technology, also have the possibility of using this fantastic educational tool for other subjects such as English, Science, Mathematics, etc.

External exams success

External exams in English, French and German are now part of our yearly objectives and each year we are obtaining better results at higher levels and with younger students. Over 200 students have taken a Cambridge or Trinity exam and we have obtained a 100% pass rate on the results so far, as many results have still to be released. The French Delf exams and German Goethe also obtained the same pass rate, 100%.

I would especially like to congratulate our 2nd Bachillerato students who have successfully obtained the Trinity 12 (C2 equivalent) before leaving school and to all those students of the other courses who made such a big effort in these exams, even sacrificing break times to practice their oral exams.

Well done and congratulations to you all.

Trinity Exams

Another year we can proudly say that all our students passed the Trinity exams with very good marks!!!

This year we want to mention not only the little ones from 2nd and 3rd grade that did it incredibly well but also our big ones, the students from 2nd of Bachillerato that took grades 10 and 12 and had great results. For us was a pleasure to hear them speaking in English before going into the exam’s room and we remembered when they were our students in 2nd or 3rd of Primary. How proud we are of them!

Congratulations!
