LAUDE El Altillo School was founded in 1998. It is a private, non-religious, mixed school without co-operative arrangements with the government that teaches

students from the age of 1 to university. LAUDE El Altillo School is one of the best and most prestigious Schools in Andalucía and we have more than 1070 students

from 1 to 18 years of age.

At our school, learning consists of much more than just acquiring concepts. It also includes understanding and enjoying the unknown world that our students have

before them every day. We want all of our students to gain self-confidence, guiding them to where their capacities and vocation may take them. Our students receive a

holistic education founded upon four pillars: an education in values, the teaching of English, the importance of sports and the new IT technologies and communication.

LAUDE El Altillo School is not a bilingual school. However in Pre-School and Primary Education the number of class hours taught in English is similar to the

Spanish ones. We follow the Spanish educational system and we dedicate special attention to languages (with three times as many class hours than most

schools in Spain), information technology and sports. We educate each of our students so that they are free and responsible and develop fully as individuals.

Outstanding News

External exams success

External exams in English, French and German are now part of our yearly objectives and each year we are obtaining better results at higher levels and with younger students. Over 200 students have taken a Cambridge or Trinity exam and we have obtained a 100% pass rate on the results so far, as many results have still to be released. The French Delf exams and German Goethe also obtained the same pass rate, 100%.

I would especially like to congratulate our 2nd Bachillerato students who have successfully obtained the Trinity 12 (C2 equivalent) before leaving school and to all those students of the other courses who made such a big effort in these exams, even sacrificing break times to practice their oral exams.

Well done and congratulations to you all.

Trinity Exams

Another year we can proudly say that all our students passed the Trinity exams with very good marks!!!

This year we want to mention not only the little ones from 2nd and 3rd grade that did it incredibly well but also our big ones, the students from 2nd of Bachillerato that took grades 10 and 12 and had great results. For us was a pleasure to hear them speaking in English before going into the exam’s room and we remembered when they were our students in 2nd or 3rd of Primary. How proud we are of them!

Congratulations!
